What is the technical intern training system?

The technical intern training system concludes an agreement between the Japanese government and mainly the governments of emerging countries, and learns the technology possessed by Japan based on direct employment with the host company while receiving the same compensation as the Japanese, and is the emerging country of the home country. This system aims to contribute to the development of the country.
To put it simply, you can learn skills that cannot be learned in emerging or developing countries by going to Japan and working, and after completing a certain period of time, bring back the skills you have acquired to your home country and develop your home country's technological capabilities and know-how. We aim to be active as human resources.

This system has been repeatedly improved, but the needs for technology transfer from emerging and developing countries have also diversified, and it has become more important in Japan and in the international community with the times. It's coming. After repeated discussions, in 2017, under the revised Technical Intern Training Law (commonly known as), we added acceptable industries such as long-term care, and started as a new technical intern training system.

The INSEG cooperative accepts technical intern trainees as a business from the standpoint of a union, and at the same time, inspects and advises union members who accept human resources who want to acquire skills using this technical intern training system. It is an existence that is closely related and supports not only the training implementation organization (corporation that accepts technical intern trainees) but also the technical intern trainee himself and all the people involved such as cooperation with the organization of the sending country.

A technical intern training system with important laws and regulations and numerous rules and restrictions for foreigners staying in Japan with employment. There are many points to be aware of. We at INSEG Cooperative will be the eyes of everyone to prevent oversight, and we will explain complicated systems in an easy-to-understand manner.

In addition to supporting hiring activities, employment, and worries during employment, we also support technical intern trainees who have a lot of worries and stress when working overseas.

For that purpose, not only to familiarize yourself with the technical intern training system and related laws, but also to listen to the voices of young people who want to go to Japan to learn skills, institutions that educate them, and government-related organizations, and to know their thoughts locally. We will go to Japan to achieve better communication and better matching.

If you are in the same industry as technical intern training, you can switch to another status of residence, "Specific Skills", in order to further develop and master the acquired skills and to actively help the shortage of human resources in Japan. ..

The current technical intern training method shifts from technical intern training No. 1 (1st year) to technical intern training No. 2 (2nd to 3rd years), and aims to further master skills for foreign human resources who have completed the training without problems. It is also possible to move to Technical Intern Training No. 3 (4th to 5th years).

On the other hand, as a new status of residence, a workable status of residence called "Specific Skills" has also been established.
This status of residence has a different character from technical intern training, and is intended to accept human resources from overseas as much as possible to help with the looming shortage of the working population in Japan. You can also apply for switching to this status of residence for those who have completed Technical Intern Training No. 2 without any problems as mentioned above.

Human resources who have already worked and learned work through the technical intern training system for 3 years and at the same time have lived in Japan for 3 years have significantly improved their Japanese proficiency compared to when they came to Japan, so they work as leaders in the workplace. You can also expect to have them continue.

After completing the technical intern training and returning to Japan, he will not only be the leader of the next generation by demonstrating the results in his home country, but also switch his status of residence to a specific skill and have great power in the future of Japan as a human resource with skills. I hope that you will grow up to be a talented person.

In particular, "long-term care" is still a developing industry in countries other than Japan, but there is no doubt that it will be an important field in the future from the perspective of each government. It will not be long before human resources who have cultivated sufficient skills in Japan through technical intern training will be needed in every country and region around the world.

The main business is long-term care.

For example, if we regularly accept 3 trainees a year, we can accept up to 9 technical intern trainees as shown in the figure.

By accepting it every year, the range that can be taught by senior technical intern trainees will be expanded and the burden of education will be reduced.

Furthermore, if the person wishes to switch to a specific skill, more stable staff can be secured.
